Senior Year

Thinking back on my experience that was my Senior year of high school I think there is a lot that can be said.  I feel like a lot of people take their high school experience for granted until you get into your fourth quarter of your last year and you're just like, "holy crap like this is it, where did all this time go?"  Well I was a bit late in starting my One Second A Day video for my Senior year, starting on New Year's day, but here it is anyway.

In a nutshell, It was ... Memorable.

Here is a collage of photos that signify great memories of my senior year:

Working with Brett Miller over the fall getting ready for
Millbrook and Liberty University lacrosse.
Volunteering my time to help build houses for Habitat for Humanity
#framergang
Locking my back up and having to get acupuncture before a game!
Watching my best friend and fellow goalie Michael
finish out the game against Sanderson #proudfather
Officially committing to play lacrosse at Liberty University.

Giving Coach Conyers his 100th career win as head coach
of the Millbrook Lacrosse program!

Finishing my Collaborative Film project as Cinematographer
Having so much fun playing my final year of lacrosse at Millbrook!

Having great and supportive friends during our win over Sanderson
on Senior Night!
Playing my final game against Wake Forrest 13-8 Victory.
Seeing my Goalie mentor Mr. Pierson for the final time in
competition.
Beating Panther Creek for the first time in Millbrook History
11-9

Beating Broughton 8-6 in an upset victory.  I became the third goalie in franchise
history to defeat BroughtonThe last Millbrook team to defeat Broughton was 8 years ago!

Well it seems like a lot of my year was taken up by lacrosse but I'd rather be with my brothers and my team than walk this journey of Senior year alone.  There's an old quote that keeps resonating with me and I think it is the perfect analogy for my year thus far.
